WELL PV Testing
About the project
Hong Kong Land, a prominent property investment, management, and development group, embarked on an ambitious project to achieve WELL at Scale Certification across eight of its prime locations. Our role in this project was to conduct WELL Performance Verification (PV) Testing for six of them. PV testing is a critical step in assessing the effectiveness of the implemented wellness strategies. The testing process ensured that each location met the stringent requirements set forth by the WELL Building Standard, paving the way for successful certification.
Key Activities
Air Quality Testing
We measured levels of indoor pollutants such as VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), carbon dioxide, ozone, radon, and others.
Average Air Score Achieved: 11.9
Water Quality Analysis
We conducted comprehensive water testing to verify that the water systems in each location provided clean and safe drinking water, free from lead, copper, legionella, and other contaminants.
Average Water Score Achieved: 10.1
Light Measurement
Our team assessed the illuminance levels and circadian lighting to ensure they support occupant comfort, productivity, and well-being.
Average Light Score Achieved: 2.3
Thermal Comfort Evaluation
We analyzed the thermal environment, including temperature, humidity, and airflow, to confirm that conditions are conducive to occupant comfort and health.
Average Thermal Comfort Score Achieved: 6.0
Sound and Acoustic Testing
We examined noise levels and acoustic design to ensure that spaces promote concentration, and comfort, and are in line with WELL Standards.
