Congratulations to Varso Tower for achieving WELL Core & Shell Gold Level Certification! Thanks to its strong sustainability efforts and the talented team of architects from Foster+Partners, the building has also received the BREEAM Outstanding certification. Our team managed the performance testing for this project, and we are immensely proud of it.

The tallest building in the European Union

Located in Warsaw, Poland, this skyscraper covers an impressive area of 96,662 square meters. Reaching up to 310 meters and spreading across 53 floors, Varso Tower has become the tallest building in the European Union, surpassing Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Tower. Its central location at the corner of Jana Pawla II and Chmielna Street makes it a prominent landmark in Warsaw.

One of the tower’s standout features is its terrace bar on the 49th floor, which hosts sixteen trees and holds the title of the highest garden in Warsaw – a remarkable integration of nature in urban architecture.

Visitors can ascend to the 53rd floor using panoramic lifts, where they are treated to unmatched views of the city, from Poland’s highest accessible point. The office spaces within Varso Tower are expansive, featuring large windows and high ceilings, serviced by efficient double-deck lifts. These aspects combine to create an ideal working environment.

A significant contributor to achieving the sustainability certifications is the building’s energy-efficient, triple-glazed façades. The tower employs various eco-friendly practices, such as rainwater harvesting for its gardens, and efficient water usage systems. It also supports green transportation with ample bicycle parking facilities and electric car charging stations.

The health and safety of occupants are paramount, ensured by a state-of-the-art building management system that monitors air quality and energy use. The tower adheres to high environmental standards, including the use of eco-friendly cleaning methods.

The design aesthetic of Varso Tower is also noteworthy. The internal courtyard offers a tranquil green space, while the lobby is adorned with a striking ceramic mosaic by a local artist, contributing to the building’s unique and sophisticated ambiance.
