About the project

Tiffany & Co., a renowned luxury jewelry brand, launched an ambitious sustainability program to prioritize sustainable design and renovation of their retail spaces. The goal was to achieve LEED Certification across multiple locations worldwide, integrating the LIFE in Store program to enhance environmental performance and create a healthier retail environment.

Accomplishments

44 stores have been LEED Certified: Currently, an estimated 12,920 square meters of floor area across 44 stores have achieved LEED Platinum, Gold, or Silver level certifications.

38 stores are under the LEED Certification process: At present, 8,000 square meters across 38 stores are in the process of certification.

In 2022, over 12% of their total floor area was certified LEED. Tiffany & Co. is on track to meet its goal of having at least 30% of its floor area LEED-certified by 2025.

Key Outcomes

20% average reduction in energy consumption: Utilized high-efficiency lighting systems and energy-controlled HVAC systems, achieving a 20% average reduction in energy consumption.

75% of waste was diverted: Implemented waste diversion plans in retail stores through the construction & operation stage to contribute to a circular economy, aiming for zero waste to landfills.

Clean air in 60 stores: Deployed BEE Sense monitoring devices for all the retail stores to achieve real-time monitoring and ensure clean & comfortable air quality.
