BEE Sense has become an official RESET Data Provider, fulfilling the requirements for the RESET Standard it supports. Real-time energy, water, and air quality data collected by BEE Sense can now be used for RESET Project Certification. BEE Sense is one of only two providers in the world that can stream data for three RESET Standards of Energy, Water, and Air.

What is the RESET Data Provider program?

The RESET Data Provider program is an essential component of the RESET certification process, which aims to provide a reliable and standardized framework for building health and sustainability into buildings and communities. The program facilitates the collection and sharing of data needed for a RESET project’s data audit, which is required for RESET certification.

The RESET Standards on air, water, energy, and waste define specific health and sustainability criteria for buildings or communities that aim to obtain RESET certification. The Air Standard prioritizes indoor air quality, while the RESET Water Standard emphasizes the quality and safety of drinking water. The RESET Energy Standard involves continuous energy monitoring, and the RESET Waste Standard requires continuous waste monitoring.

Accredited data providers must monitor and report on key performance indicators related to these standards to achieve RESET certification. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data, the RESET Accredited Data Provider Standard mandates that data providers utilize appropriate sensors and monitoring equipment, maintain calibration and maintenance records, and submit regular reports to RESET.

BEE Sense features

BEE Sense is a hardware-agnostic platform that can conduct carbon footprint analyses on Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, from single projects to entire portfolios. This makes it a valuable tool for organizations looking to reduce their environmental impact and improve their sustainability credentials.

What’s more, BEE Sense is the first building monitoring system to be fully integrated with USGBC’s Arc platform for the transmission of energy, water, and air quality data that can be used for LEED O+M Certification. This integration streamlines the certification process and ensures that all data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
