About the project

Nike hired BEE to manage the LEED certification for all of their new retail spaces implementing LEED v4 in China. The stores incorporate an array of innovative technologies focused on maximizing the health and well-being of the stores customers and employees while minimizing energy use. Some of NIKE’s sustainability targets include:

• Mandatory green cleaning & mercury reduction policies
• 15-20% reduction in energy consumption per store
• 32% lighting power density reduction on average
• 70% average waste diversion
