On June 4, 2020, our Founder & President Alessandro Bisagni together with Francesca Galati, Managing Director at BEE, expanded on how we helped one of our clients become the world’s very first LEED-certified project under the latest version of LEED v4.1 O+M through a webinar hosted by Wattics. During this online session, the scalability of performance-based certifications was discussed followed by an explanation of how energy monitoring can help owners and facility managers analyze and implement strategies to save energy. In addition, a step-by-step explanation was given to show the integration between Wattics, a cloud-based energy management software solution, and Arc, a sustainable performance platform complement to LEED. Some of the benefits of Wattics-Arc integration were also shown, such as portfolio creation and management, benchmarking, and scoring. With more than 200 viewers from different parts of the world, participants were able to interact with Alessandro Bisagni and Francesca Galati during the Q&A session at the end of the webinar.

ABOUT LEED

Developed by U.S. Green Building Council, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building project types, from new construction to interior fit-outs and operation & maintenance, LEED provides a framework that project teams can apply to create healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.
